Nacho Cheese. Life Lesson

So my buddy and I were at a college hockey game last night.
And since I bought him a beer, he bought me some nachos.
(Fair Trade)
But you know the Nachos they sell, the gas station type.  A bag of chips, and a cup of cheese
The usual.
So when you get your Nachos, you see the cheese, and think it won't last through all the chips, so you budget and conserve your cheese through the whole damn bag, until you get to the end and realize that you have way more cheese left than you do chips.
And you try your goddamn all to get all that cheese on your chips but you just left too much.
It goes to waste.  (you'd lick it out of the cup, but you're too proud)
So what do you do the next time?
"Fuck it, I'm going to each these Nachos and Cheese like each chip is the last"
And then you have nothing left but a half bag of salty Nachos and no Cheese.

And then you have all Nachos and no Cheese.

But I guess that's life.

Nachos and Cheese.

  1. A true life lesson for us all, and a good lesson about moderation. Don't overdo the cheese, but do remember to use it.

  4. Haha I've had the exact same problem... conserving up until there is way too much at the end. I wonder what that says about our personalities.

  5. I ALWAYS lick the nacho cheese out of the cup.

    I AM PROUD.

  6. I just eat each nacho with the amount of cheese I want it to have. Whether or not some is left over won't matter then, because each nacho I had before it finished was fucking perfect.

  7. What can i say. You have a point, life is very hard. I approach nachos the same way D4 does. But if towards the end, i feel like i'm running a little short on cheese, i scale it down a bit so i make it last. Those nachos without cheese are nothing but a salty piece of cardboard.

  11. I always just swipe and extra cup of cheese. I deon't know what that says about me as a person, but it does say "I love cheese"

  13. Some you win, some you loose - but you can never have enough cheese.

  14. This is so true. I always budget them and end up with a puddle of cold, waxy cheese. And then I wonder why I ate that to begin with, and if it looks like that in my stomach. But apparently it doesn't scar me for TOO long, since I go back and eat them again later...

  15. I can actually moderate it well so I end up using the last of the cheese with the last of the chips. But I don't drink.

  17. Haha, so true!

I actually like to conserve the cheese and then use it for other stuff like a hot dog. Make it a chili cheese dog. Of course, that part doesn't necessarily apply in life.

If everyone thinks your way, we wont have poverty in our country.

  19. That was quite thought-provoking. But what if I shared my nachos with someone else?
